What We Do

The Michigan Association of Environmental Professionals (MAEP) was founded in 1978. We host professional development meetings and publish newsletters throughout the year to bring relevant content to our membership; we host annual golf outings to raise funds for our Environmental Education Grant program; and we award grant funding to local schools, universities, community organizations, and other non-profits to encourage and inspire the next generation of environmental professionals.  We are proud to have awarded over $249,988 to date, and counting!

Our Mission

MAEP's purpose is to promote the advancement of interdisciplinary environmental education, planning, assessment, review and management.
