Speaker(s): Matt Rybar, Alpha Consulting Matt Rybar is a graduate of Hope College in Holland majoring in engineering. He has extensive knowledge in Unmanned Aerial Systems and geospatial solutions. He is a certified UAS pilot and has flown thousands of flight hours gathering aerial imagery. He has walked many organizations through their UAS programs including the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. The presentation and demonstration will show you a few of the many remote sensing platforms available for use with an Unmanned Aircraft Systems. We will be demonstrating a few different approaches to using a UAS. First, we will show the live, on site capabilities of what you can do with the imagery while the aircraft is air-born. Secondly, we will demonstrate ways to collect data while airborne that can be post processed to create high resolution imagery/models. Note: outdoor presentations may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
