    Environmental Project Manager

    Job Summary

    Global Remediation Technologies, Inc. (GRT) is seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Environmental Project Manager and/or Environmental Engineer to lead and manage key elements of environmental investigations and remediation projects.     Environmental Scientist

    Job Summary

    Global Remediation Technologies, Inc. (GRT) is seeking a full-time Environmental Scientist to carry out field and office assignments within Michigan. Principal tasks will include collection of environmental data and preparing elements of project deliverables. The selected candidate will have an eye for detail, an interest in the sciences, the ability to interact and correspond with a wide variety of people, and work as part of a greater team. This position requires approximately 60% travel time to various locations within the state of Michigan.

    ·         Join a highly functional team in the support and development of renewable fuels and renewable energy projects.

    ·         Provide technical expertise and management support to the Renewable Natural Gas process safety and regulatory permitting and compliance team.

    ·         Function as an available point of contact with clients on projects and ensure a high level of client service and satisfaction.

    Join Stantec’s team in Farmington Hills, MI as an environmental project manager supporting complex environmental consulting projects focusing on site characterization, remediation, and brownfield revitalization for key clients.     Your Key Responsibilities

    • Assist Stantec’s National Asset Transformation and Brownfields team with grant writing and implementation.
    • Perform remedial activities at affected facilities, properties, or sites addressing chemical impacts in air, surface water, soil, soil vapor, groundwater, and/or sediment.
    • Managing or overseeing personnel conducting due diligence, Phase I ESAs or other environmental projects.
    • Conduct intrusive site investigations, Phase II ESAs, facility investigations, and remedial investigations of vapor, surface water, soil, groundwater, and/or sediment to determine the presence or absence, nature, and extent of constituents of concern.
    • Collect, and interpret data, conduct analyses, and compare findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to confirm compliance.
    • Compiling, evaluating, analyzing, and presenting/reporting subsurface investigation data and preparing technical reports.
    • Contribute to design and optimization of environmental remediation systems and strategies.
